Mid-Year 2019 Newsletter

OMG! Where have the time flies? We are already half way of 2019 and I feel like it’s yesterday when summer is here and I am cracking on with my games and trying to get my handicap down from 20 to 14 but unfortunately I was 2 handicaps short by the time I get to my lowest this year which was 16.4…anyway how was everyone’s golf last summer?

Social Golf Membership –
18 and 9 holes annually and monthly

Some of you probably noticed that we have been promoting our Social Golf Membership since last year and only recently we finalized it with both 18 holes and 9 holes options. The reason it took so long is because we selectively choose the affordable golf courses to fit the membership cost, the areas of all around Auckland to give every ladies that interested in all the schedule golf courses we planned to play all year around and also to ensure the golf courses have the catering needs that we want. Unfortunately like every golf courses in Auckland, not all cafes are opened every day of the week so we created a pre-packed lunch plan and snacks to include in our membership package to make it attractive for busy ladies, readily available for everyone who turn up for games that belongs to this subscriptions basis membership, where everything is pre-scheduled and organised for their game. All they need to do is organise their availability for the day or book the day-care for busy mum and turn up on the day enjoying the golf and each other’s company. Click below to subscribe and we welcome any questions. Subscriptions can be paid annually with a big discount or yearly payment or monthly automatic payment with a small admin fee if you wish to spread the cost that way. We hope to see you joining us soon as there are always plenty of golf courses that you been dying to try but haven’t got anyone to go with, so this is the time!

Chicks Who Golf travel to Nova Scotia –
what courses we will be playing

Chicks Who Golf is travelling to Nova Scotia as a follow-up investment we made last year at Forest Lakes Country Club where we purchased just over an acre land in a 70-hector golf course development. We also invested in a pre-built home that was built last year at the same development last March that can be readily available for rental but unfortunately the golf course itself won’t be ready till 2021. For now, we won’t have any international tour planned for that golf course but can cater to other golf courses nearby using the house as the accommodations. It’s very exciting for us as we will be traveling at the end of June till the end of July to have some R&R and of course golfs! We have booked 2 rounds of Golf at Cabot Links in Nova Scotia which is no. 1 golf course in Canada and no. 9 in the world and other golf courses in Nova Scotia called Brunello Links and Truro. How exciting! Keep checking our FB and IG account and for some amazing photos of our time in Nova Scotia.

Nova Scotia magazines publication featuring
Chicks Who Golf story

They say things happened when you are least expected. Not only the purchase of the house in Nova Scotia is our highlight of this year (fickle mind we are!) but Chicks Who Golf also has been asked to contribute a story about ladies’ golf and our business in one of the publications in Nova Scotia from our brief visit to the development last year. It will be published in September, but we are extremely privileged to be recognised for our work, enthusiast and business core mission. We will share the article once it’s out but as a small business and entrepreneur, we feel so proud of our work and recognition, globally!

We have a lot more event coming to you before the the year is over to head on to our events page to stay updated of all our upcoming events.
